We are now looking for a housing supporter to join our team at Nytida Lästringe-Alma. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position is a part-time job at 80-90%

About Nytida Lästringe-Alma The group home is located in a scenic environment on a farm close to the motorway exit. Just a short walk from our daily activities. Here we have a modern accommodation with 6 apartments and common areas such as a large kitchen/living room for social interaction, laundry room, a small gym, a meeting room, and a staff apartment. Our efforts primarily aim to strengthen abilities and skills, to provide support for independence, and to live on one's own terms while actively preventing stressors and mental health issues. We take pride in our residents experiencing high levels of comfort, self-determination, and security - we are always eager to improve our ability to provide individual support and high-quality services.

About the role In the role of housing supporter, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making each day meaningful. You will support and guide with various support structures, prepare for activities and events, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.

You will have a group leader or unit manager nearby who works part-time in the operations. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a YH education as a support pedagogue, other pedagogical or psychological subjects, or nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our clients' best interests in mind in everything you do.

We use cars in the service, therefore a driver's license is required.
